Maurten Addition is a palate reset. It is designed to give athletes the option of adding a different taste to  Drink Mix 320 or 160. Repeated consumption of
carbohydrate fuels — even those with a neutral flavor profile — can lead to a state
of flavor fatigue. Symptoms can include a lack of motivation to maintain a planned fueling protocol, sickly or nauseous sensation, and an impaired sense of taste.


For athletes impacted by flavor fatigue, the result can be reduced fueling and an energy
deficit. Maurten Addition enables athletes to vary their fuel according to preferred taste
without impacting the function of Hydrogel Technology.
